Lebanon
Lebanon has had the highest number of refugees per capita in the world.
Since Syrian conflict began in 2011, millions of refugees have sought shelter here.
The House of Sarah
The House of Sarah is in the refugee community in the Bekaa Valley. We provide some emergency aid, but the main aim is to provide skills training & education for income generation.
Women are taught how to sew with sewing machines, & literacy & IT lessons are promoted. Health education is also provided for parents & children, including the importance of clean water and general hygiene.
